Why is it important to enter the kingdom of God?

Answered in 1 source

Entering the kingdom of God is critical for eternal life and a relationship with Christ.

The importance of entering the kingdom of God cannot be overstated. As described in the sermon, being 'near' the kingdom is a perilous position since it lacks the assurance of salvation. Jesus presents Himself as the exclusive 'door' through which one gains access to salvation and eternal life. According to John 10:9, 'I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.' This signifies that true spiritual nourishment and safety are found only through an authentic relationship with Jesus. Without entering the kingdom through faith in Him, one risks eternal separation from God.
