Why is it important to know the name of the Lord?

This means that understanding who God is — His goodness, mercy, and grace — leads to a foundational trust in Him. Each name of God, such as Jehovah Jireh (the God who provides) and Jehovah Shalom (the God of peace), reflects His roles and promises to His people.
