Why is it important to leave people alone after witnessing to them?

Answered in 1 source

Leaving individuals alone after witnessing allows God to work in their hearts, as salvation is ultimately in His hands.

Witnessing involves presenting the truth of Jesus Christ to others, but it is not our role to pressure or manipulate individuals into making a decision. After clearly communicating the gospel, it is vital to leave them to God’s sovereignty in their salvation. Only the Holy Spirit can quicken a person's heart to believe, and our efforts should reflect our trust in God's timing and power. This notion reinforces the truth that salvation is of the Lord, and we must respect each person’s journey with God following our witness.
