Why is it important to pray in Jesus' name?

Answered in 2 sources

Praying in Jesus' name signifies approaching God through Christ as our mediator, recognizing Him as the only way to the Father.

Praying in Jesus' name is of great significance as it embodies the acknowledgment of Christ as our sole mediator between us and God. In John 14:13-14, Jesus states that whatever we ask in His name, He will do. This does not imply that we can demand anything simply by adding a tag to our prayers but rather signifies that our requests must align with His will and purpose. Asking in His name reflects a heart that understands and accepts that only through Christ's righteousness can we approach the throne of grace, confident in God's willingness to hear us.
