Why is it important to understand God's purpose in our trials?

God allows trials in the lives of His people for specific purposes. Romans 9 teaches that these challenges are orchestrated by God to demonstrate His power and sovereignty. By facing difficulties, believers are reminded of their dependence on God for strength and deliverance. Trials serve to refine faith, strengthen reliance upon Him, and compel Christians to focus on His sufficiency rather than their circumstances.
