Why is it important to understand our frailty as humans?

Answered in 1 source

Recognizing human frailty allows for a deeper appreciation of God's grace and mercy.

Job eloquently portrays human frailty by stating that man's days are few and full of trouble (Job 14:1-2). Understanding this reality helps Christians recognize the need for divine help and grace, particularly in light of God's justice, which human beings cannot stand against without Christ. This awareness cultivates humility and dependence on God's sovereignty and mercy, as we realize our limitations and the hope found in Jesus Christ, who was sent to redeem us.
