Why is it impossible to please God without faith?

Answered in 2 sources

Without faith, we cannot engage in a true relationship with God, leading to a complete inability to please Him (Hebrews 11:6).

The scripture clearly states that it is impossible to please God without faith because faith is the means through which we relate to Him. When we fail to trust God, we assert our independence and disregard His sovereignty and righteousness. This lack of faith results in being at variance with God, as we seek our own methods for righteousness instead of receiving it through Christ alone, ultimately making our efforts an offense to God.
