Why is it said that Christ is all in our preaching?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is central in preaching as He is the focus of the gospel and the source of all truth.

In 1 Corinthians 2:2, Paul notes that he resolved to know nothing while among the Corinthians except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. This highlights that the essence of true preaching revolves around the proclamation of Christ. All doctrines and teachings must point back to Christ as He is the foundation of our faith. When preaching emphasizes Christ, it brings believers into a deeper understanding of who He is and what He has done, ensuring that the message remains centered on the gospel rather than peripheral issues.
