Why is it wrong for Christians to sue each other?

Answered in 1 source

Suing fellow Christians undermines the unity of the church and reflects poorly on the Christian witness.

In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul rebukes the Corinthian church for taking legal action against one another. He argues that lawsuits among believers expose the body of Christ's internal divisions and bring shame to the church's testimony. Furthermore, such actions indicate a lack of wisdom and understanding of God's principles, as well as an unwillingness to forgive and seek reconciliation. Instead of pursuing legal avenues, Christians are called to embody love and to resolve conflicts within the church in a manner that honors God and upholds the integrity of the Christian community.
