Why is Jesus called the Way, the Truth, and the Life?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is the only means of salvation and understanding God, making Him the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

In John 14:6, Jesus declares, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.' This statement underscores His unique role as the sole mediator between God and humanity. He is the ‘way’ in the sense that He is the pathway to reconciliation with God. He is the ‘truth’ in that He reveals God's nature and will. Lastly, He is the ‘life,’ providing not only the physical existence but also the spiritual life that connects us to God. In Christ, we find everything needed for eternal life and relationship with the Father.
