Why is Jesus important for understanding God?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is essential because He is the exact representation of God and fulfills the entirety of God's revelations.

Jesus is paramount in understanding God because He is described as the exact expression of God's nature and character (Hebrews 1:3). He provides a complete and final revelation of who God is and what He desires for humanity. Through Jesus, we see the fullness of God’s attributes and His redemptive plan for us. As such, to know Jesus is to know the Father (John 14:9). The Scriptures point toward Him, revealing that all things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). Therefore, Jesus is not just a part of the story; He is the story, central to understanding the divine narrative of creation, redemption, and our relationship with God.
