Why is Jesus's humanity important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus's humanity provides comfort and understanding for our struggles.

The humanity of Christ is not only a theological point but a great comfort to believers. It assures us that our Savior experienced real temptation, sorrow, and physical exhaustion. This means He understands our trials deeply and is able to sympathize with us in our struggles. His weariness serves as an example that we can approach Him with our burdens, knowing that He relates to our suffering. Furthermore, His humanity affirms that He came to fully engage with our condition, allowing Him to be our perfect High Priest who intercedes on our behalf.
