Why is knowing Christ important for righteousness?

Knowing Christ is essential because He is our righteousness, granted to us through faith.

The Bible teaches that 'Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes' (Romans 10:4). This means that all attempts to achieve righteousness through the law are futile. Instead, righteousness is found in Christ alone. By believing in Him, we receive His perfect righteousness, an essential truth for all believers. Our works cannot earn favor with God, but faith in Christ grants us a standing of acceptance before the Father, ensuring our justification and peace.
