Recognizing our need for Christ is essential for coming to Him for salvation.
Understanding our spiritual need is a critical component in seeking the Lord Jesus Christ. In Mark 5, both Jairus and the woman with an issue of blood only sought Jesus when they faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles. This reflects a sobering truth: often, humanity waits until in dire need before seeking the Savior. The desire to remedy our situations through our own means can lead to despair; only when one sees their true condition does the heart turn to Christ. As seen in these miracles, it is God the Holy Spirit who opens eyes to our great need and draws us to Him. This is a miracle of grace, leading us to rely solely on Christ for healing and salvation.
