Why is meeting together important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Meeting together allows Christians to encourage one another and fulfill their responsibilities to the body of Christ.

Meeting together as Christians is essential for nurturing our spiritual lives and fulfilling our responsibilities towards our brethren. The gathering creates an environment where we can minister to one another's needs, reinforcing the fact that we are not independent but rather interconnected members of one body (1 Corinthians 12:12-27). This communal aspect of faith strengthens us against the challenges we face in life, reminding us that we are not alone and that we have a duty to consider others above ourselves, especially as we see the day of the Lord approaching (Romans 15:2). Through gathering, we exercise love and support, which ultimately reflects the love of Christ in our relationships.
