Why is obedience important for Christians in receiving God's blessings?

Answered in 1 source

Obedience is vital as it is through faith and patience that we inherit God's blessings.

Obedience in the Christian life is intertwined with faith and patience. Hebrews 6:12 instructs believers to avoid being slothful but to emulate those who, through faith and patience, inherit the promises of God. Obedience is not simply about performing good deeds but is rooted in a heart that believes God's promises. This obedience serves as evidence of one's faith and commitment to God. Therefore, living in obedience expresses our trust in God’s plan, which ultimately leads to experiencing His blessings.
