Why is obedience to God considered for His glory?

Answered in 1 source

Obedience glorifies God by demonstrating our trust in Him and alignment with His will.

Obedience to God is intrinsically tied to His glory because it reflects our understanding of His character and authority. As we see in Philippians 2:9-11, God has exalted Christ for His obedience, displaying that obedience leads to divine recognition and glory. When Christians obey, they not only fulfill God's commands but also reveal His nature to the world, pointing others to the truth of the gospel. This act of obedience becomes a living testimony that God is capable of transforming hearts and lives through Christ. In our obedience, we therefore participate in the larger narrative of God's glory being made known, as we are called to reflect the character of Christ, who embodies perfect obedience.
