Why is peace essential in a Christian's life?

Peace is foundational in the Christian faith as it marks the believer's reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1 states, 'Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.' This peace not only signifies a restored relationship with God but also affects our relationships with others. When we embrace God's peace, we are called to extend that peace in our interactions, fostering unity and love among our fellow believers.
