Why is physical stewardship important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Physical stewardship is important because our bodies are entrusted to us by God and are meant to serve His glory.

As Christians, understanding that our bodies are 'not our own' but were 'bought with a price' (1 Corinthians 6:20) drives our commitment to steward them well. This responsibility encompasses aspects such as diet, exercise, and overall health as these choices impact our ability to serve God effectively. In the light of Romans 12:1, where we are called to present our bodies as living sacrifices, we recognize that our physical health directly affects our spiritual vitality and capacity to engage in ministry and acts of service for God's kingdom. Hence, a balanced and conscientious approach to physical stewardship is vital for fulfilling God's calling in our lives.
