Why is preaching the gospel important for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Preaching the gospel is essential for believers as it equips and nourishes them spiritually (Romans 10:14).

Preaching the gospel is critical to the life of believers because it is through the faithful proclamation of God's Word that His people are fed, nourished, and equipped for every good work. According to Romans 10:14, 'How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?' The church exists to declare this message to the world and, more importantly, to itself. It is through the gospel that believers grow in understanding and grace, learning to rely fully on Christ rather than their own works, thus fostering a deep relationship with Him.
