Why is private worship not enough?

Answered in 1 source

Private worship alone is insufficient because it lacks public declaration and the communal experience of God's presence.

While private worship is indeed valuable, it cannot replace the significance of public worship. As discussed in Matthew 10:32-33, public confession of faith is essential for a believer's walk with Christ. God reveals Himself in unique ways through collective worship—where two or three are gathered, His presence is specially promised. This public acknowledgment of faith and shared experiences are crucial for spiritual health, accountability, and maintaining fervor in one’s walk with God. Without public worship, believers may fall prey to isolation and spiritual indifference, which ultimately undermines their faith.
