Why is public worship more important than private worship?

Answered in 2 sources

Public worship is vital as it is where God meets with His people and they call on His name together.

Public worship serves as a collective gathering where believers meet to unite in praising God and sharing in the richness of the gospel. Acts 2:1 shows that significant events, including salvation, often occur within this communal setting. Furthermore, public worship strengthens the bonds of the family of God, fostering fellowship and support among believers. When Christians gather to worship, they are not only honoring God but also experiencing His presence, thereby experiencing mutual encouragement and spiritual growth which is less possible in isolation.
