Why is remembering Christ's love important for Christians?

Remembering Christ's love is central to the Christian faith, particularly exemplified through His death on the cross. His love is the greatest demonstration of God’s mercy, as He willingly gave Himself for our salvation. This sacrificial love illustrates the Father's love in giving His Son and the Son’s love in laying down His life for His friends (John 15:13). In observing the Lord's Supper, we reflect on this profound love, not just as an emotional response but as a critical foundation of our faith that spurs us towards gratitude, obedience, and sharing that love with others.
