Why is remembrance of Christ important for believers?

The act of remembrance is a central theme in the Christian faith. Throughout Scripture, God calls His followers to remember Him and His works—especially the work of Christ. This remembrance serves to reaffirm believers' faith, increasing their reliance on God’s promises and their understanding of His character. As seen in Isaiah 62, the watchmen are commanded to remind God of His promises.
