Why is seeing Christ important for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Seeing Christ is essential for salvation because one cannot be saved without a true vision of who Christ is and what He has done.

In Isaiah 6, the vision of the Lord depicts the attributes of Christ, demonstrating His sovereignty and majesty. Every person God saves receives a revelation of Christ, and this revelation is foundational to faith. Jesus stated in John 14:6, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.' Therefore, a true vision of Christ leads one to recognize their sinfulness and need for Him as Savior. Isaiah’s vision emphasizes that salvation hinges on knowing Christ, who reveals God's grace and mercy to the sinner.
