Why is seeing the glory of God important for Christians?

Answered in 2 sources

Seeing the glory of God is essential for Christians as it leads to true worship and transformation of the heart.

The glory of God is the essence of who He is, and recognizing it is crucial for authentic worship. Isaiah’s vision of God in Isaiah 6 illustrates that when one encounters God's holiness and glory, it leads to a profound sense of humility and a recognition of one’s own sinfulness. As seen in Isaiah 6:5, seeing God's glory causes Isaiah to exclaim, 'Woe is me!' This awareness is necessary for true repentance and faith. When our eyes are opened to this glory, we cannot help but be transformed, becoming eager to worship and serve Him. Therefore, the vision of God's glory is pivotal for every believer’s journey of faith.
