Why is serving the Lord with gladness important?

Serving the Lord with gladness showcases our recognition of who He is and what He has done for us. In Psalm 100:2, we are admonished to 'Serve the Lord with gladness,' indicating that our service should stem from a heart filled with joy and gratitude, not mere obligation. This gladness signifies our delight in God's sovereignty and faithfulness, even amid difficulties. It transforms our service into an act of worship, allowing us to experience and express the joy that comes from knowing we are His people, and in doing so, we also model this attitude for others, particularly our children.
