Why is sharing our testimony important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Sharing our testimony about Christ's work in our lives is a biblical command and a powerful way to lead others to faith.

The sermon underscores the significance of personal testimony in the life of a believer. The woman at the well responded to her encounter with Jesus by going into the city to tell others about Him, saying, 'Come see a man!' (John 4:29). This act of sharing her experience not only brought others to Christ but also fulfilled the commission believers have to bear witness of what the Lord has done. As believers, sharing our testimony serves as an encouragement and witness to others, affirming that Christ can transform lives. In Revelation 12:11, we learn that believers overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, highlighting its vital role in God’s redemptive plan.
