Why is the church important for receiving God's blessings?

Answered in 1 source

The church is essential for receiving God's blessings, as it is the sphere where God commands His blessing.

The church serves as the appointed venue for receiving the blessings of God. In Psalm 133, the psalmist declares that God commands the blessing, even life forevermore, where brethren dwell together in unity. This implies that salvation and God's favor are found in the context of His church, which is made up of those who are redeemed by Christ. Therefore, to be outside of the Gospel church is to be disconnected from the blessings that God has promised. Ephesians 5:25-27 further illustrates that Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it, establishing it as the means through which believers experience His grace and eternal life.
