Why is the church important to Christ?

The importance of the church to Christ cannot be overstated; it is described as His bride, the apple of His eye. In Psalm 26, the phrase 'I have loved the habitation of thy house' affirms that God's people are His dwelling place. Christ’s love for the church conveys His deep commitment to nurture, protect, and glorify His body.
