Why is the concept of blessing important for Christians?

Christian blessing signifies the favor and grace of God given to those who believe in Jesus. This is rooted in the truth that our blessings are not earned but are a result of the sovereign grace of God. Ephesians 1:3 tells us that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
