Understanding Jesus Christ as the foundation of our faith is crucial for Christians because it frames how we perceive our identity in relation to God. As noted in the sermon, our knowledge of God is mediated through Christ alone; He is our Savior, our King, and the source of all blessings from God. In Colossians 2:9, we see that 'in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.'
