Why is the concept of Christ's servanthood important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's servanthood is vital because He served us by taking on the sins of humanity and accomplishing our salvation.

The importance of Christ's servanthood cannot be overstated in the life of a Christian. By assuming the role of a servant, as depicted in Isaiah and fulfilled in His earthly ministry, Jesus demonstrated humility and the depth of His love for us. He labored on our behalf, taking upon Himself the iniquities of the world, which we could never bear. This servanthood emphasizes that our salvation is not achieved by our works, but through the selfless work of Christ, who willingly became a servant to provide us with life and righteousness.
