Why is the concept of tribulations important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Tribulations are vital as they press us closer to God and reveal our dependence on His grace.

Tribulations play a central role in the Christian life as they are appointed by God for our growth and sanctification. In Ephesians 3:13, Paul encourages believers not to faint at his tribulations for them, recognizing that these hardships benefit the church and serve a divine purpose. They expose our weaknesses, allowing us to find strength in Christ alone (2 Corinthians 12:9). This examination and reliance on God's grace are crucial for spiritual maturity, as they draw us into deeper fellowship with Him and strengthen our faith in His promises.
