Why is the dignity of God important in our conversations?

Maintaining respect for the dignity of God and those He places in authority is pivotal in a believer's life. As Jude discusses, contempt for dignities and authorities can lead to a lack of reverence for God Himself. The sermon highlights that even Michael the archangel did not speak evil against the devil, indicating a proper recognition of authority and dignity (Jude 9). In our conversations, addressing God and His appointed leaders with respect shows our understanding of His sovereign order. It promotes a spirit of humility and submission, acknowledging that all authority ultimately belongs to God, and we must act in accordance with that understanding.
