Why is the Feast of Pentecost important for Christians?

The Feast of Pentecost is significant for Christians as it marks the day when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the apostles and other followers of Christ, leading to the dynamic and public proclamation of the gospel. This event fulfills the promise Jesus made to His disciples that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them (Acts 1:8).
