Why is the glory of Christ's death important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

The glory of Christ's death is important as it exemplifies God’s love and our need for grace.

Understanding the glory of Christ's death is vital for Christians because it reveals the heart of the gospel. The glory is seen in His obedience to the Father and the unmerited grace we receive through His sacrifice. In John 12:23-24, Jesus indicates that only through His death can true life be given, much like a seed that must die to bring forth fruit. This demonstrates not only the power of His blood, which cleanses us entirely but also that we are called to recognize the depth of His sacrifice, which magnifies God's attributes such as justice, mercy, and love. As believers, our perspective on life drastically changes when we see and appreciate the glory of Christ's death.
