Why is the Gospel centered on Jesus Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Gospel is centered on Jesus Christ because He embodies the message of salvation, fulfilling all that is required for our redemption.

The Gospel centers on Jesus Christ as He is the one who fulfills the entirety of God's redemptive plan. Colossians 1:19 emphasizes that all fullness dwells in Him, making Him the perfect medium through which God communicates His grace to humanity. The apostolic preaching, as seen through the writings of Paul and others, consistently affirms that salvation is found in no one else but Christ (Acts 4:12). In Him, we find the complete picture of God’s love, justice, and mercy, as He bore our sins and reconciled us to God, making Him the focal point of the Gospel message.
