Why is the Gospel more than just salvation from hell?

Answered in 1 source

The Gospel is the good news of complete restoration and victory through Jesus Christ, not merely salvation from hell.

The Gospel signifies far more than just the rescue of sinners from hell; it embodies the promise of restoration of all that was lost in Adam's fall. This understanding broadens the concept of salvation to encompass the redemption of the entire creation. As articulated in Acts 3, God's plan of redemption is aimed at restoring everything as foretold by the prophets, thus providing a complete victory over all that opposes Him. Ultimately, the Gospel assures us that Christ’s redemptive work will renew not only our spiritual state but all of creation.
