Why is the gospel significant for believers today?

Answered in 1 source

The gospel is the power of God for salvation, essential for all believers.

The gospel remains the cornerstone of Christian belief, representing the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. It brings life and clarity to those spiritually dead, providing sight and understanding of God’s grace. The continued preaching of the gospel assures believers that God is still actively involved in saving His people, offering hope and restoration through faith in Christ. As believers, we are encouraged to share this gospel truth with others, proclaiming God's grace to the poor in spirit who are still in darkness and need of salvation.
