Why is the holiness of Christ important for Christians?

The holiness of Christ is central to His identity and mission. Hebrews 7:26 describes Jesus as 'holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners.' This perfection is essential, as only a Holy Savior can atone for the sins of humanity. For Christians, recognizing the holiness of Christ not only underscores our need for His righteousness but also serves as a standard for our own conduct.
