Why is the Holy Spirit essential in the process of redemption?

Answered in 1 source

The Holy Spirit is essential in redemption as He enables believers to experience and realize the gifts of salvation.

The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in the process of redemption by bringing about transformation and application of the redemption secured by Christ. Ephesians 2:8 explains that it is by grace through faith that we are saved, and this faith is awakened in us by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit not only convicts us of sin but also regenerates our hearts, enabling us to trust in Christ. As believers, we are called to walk in the Spirit, recognizing that the power of God actively works within us, leading us through our salvation journey, from initial faith to ultimate glorification.
