Why is the Holy Spirit important in applying God's promises to us?

Answered in 1 source

The Holy Spirit effectively applies God's promises, renewing and strengthening believers daily.

The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in the lives of believers, as He is the one who takes the promises of God and applies them to our hearts. In Romans 8:26-27, the Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us according to God's will. He accomplishes the work of regeneration and daily renewal, continually reminding us of God's love, grace, and faithfulness. It is through the Spirit that believers experience the fullness of joy, peace, and assurance in their relationship with God, making the doctrine of grace personally impactful.
