Why is the intercession of Christ important for believers?

Answered in 3 sources

The intercession of Christ ensures that our faith does not fail, providing continual support for believers in their spiritual battle.

The intercession of Christ is critical for believers as it underscores His role as our Great High Priest who continually prays for us. Hebrews 7:25 states that He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him because He ever liveth to make intercession for them. This means that even in our weaknesses and struggles with sin, Christ is actively supporting our faith. His intercession assures us that we are not alone in our spiritual battles, and it gives believers confidence that their faith will be sustained. Just as Moses had Aaron and Hur to help support his hands during the battle with Amalek, believers have Christ's intercession as their source of strength and encouragement.
