Why is the Lord's Supper not a sacrament?

Answered in 1 source

The Lord's Supper is not a sacrament because it does not have saving power; it serves as a remembrance of Christ's one sacrifice.

The Lord's Supper differs from sacraments in that it is not an act that conveys grace or accomplishes salvation. Instead, it is a symbolic remembrance of the one sacrifice of Christ, who 'by one offering hath perfected forever them that are sanctified' (Hebrews 10:14). This distinction is critical: the Supper does not confer grace but calls believers to remember what Christ has already accomplished through His death and resurrection. The table serves as a celebration of that finished work, rather than a means to secure salvation.
