Why is the ministry important for Christians?

Answered in 2 sources

The ministry is crucial for Christians as it is the means through which the gospel is proclaimed and believers are edified and encouraged.

Ministry is vital for Christians because it serves as God's appointed way to spread the gospel and build up the body of Christ. In 2 Corinthians 4:1-11, Paul teaches that our ministry is a result of mercy, intended for the proclamation of the word and the service of others. Believers are called to walk in this ministry through love and humility, reflecting the grace they have received. The act of serving and ministering to each other is an expression of our faith and obedience to Christ's command to make disciples. In doing so, we equip and encourage one another, fostering spiritual growth and community within the church.
