Why is the purity of Christ important for Christians?

The significance of Christ's purity lies in His role as the refiner and purifier of His people. As indicated in Malachi 3:2-3, the Lord Jesus, like a refiner's fire, purifies and purges His people so that they may offer acceptable offerings in righteousness. This purification signifies not only the removal of guilt but also the enablement of believers to worship God rightly.
