Why is the revelation of God important for Christians?

God's revelation is essential for Christians as it unveils His nature, His plan for salvation, and the way in which He engages with humanity. The Old Testament prophets, including Samuel, were tasked with delivering God's messages, but the fullness of revelation is found in Jesus Christ, who is referred to as 'the Word' in John 1:1. This indicates that understanding God comes solely through Christ.
