Why is the voice of Christ important for Christians?

Answered in 3 sources

The voice of Christ is vital for Christians because it is through His voice that they gain spiritual life and direction.

The voice of Christ holds immense importance for Christians as it is the source of spiritual life and guidance. In the sermon, it is articulated that without the omnipotent voice of Jesus, any means we use for spiritual growth or revival are ultimately powerless. Just as the lame man at the pool of Bethesda could not be healed until Jesus arrived, Christians today need His voice to be revived and quickened in their faith. This underscores the necessity of relying on Jesus for spiritual awakening and understanding, affirming that all praise belongs to Him for the work He accomplishes in the hearts of believers, who then live by faith through His voice.
