Why is the Word of God important in knowing God?

Answered in 1 source

The Word of God is crucial because it reveals God's character and the way to salvation.

The Word of God is paramount for understanding who God is and how one can have a relationship with Him. According to Psalm 19:7, 'The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.' It provides the ultimate revelation of God's nature, His holiness, and His love for sinners. Through the scriptures, we learn of Christ, the promised Savior, who fulfills the requirements of the law and provides atonement for our sins. It is through engaging with the Word that we are able to come to faith and find peace with God. The teachings of the Bible guide us in living out our faith and understanding God's will for our lives.
